Mission Statement
To support the University in achieving its mission purpose and core values via fundraising and relationship building internally and externally.
What we do
The priority of the Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is to further the development of LJMU by actively generating donations and co-ordinating the fundraising activity for the University.
We seek philanthropic support from valued friends of LJMU, our alumni community and members of staff as well as charitable trusts & foundations and corporate sponsorship. Donations support a range of special projects, including scholarships and bursaries, and also allow us the flexibility to respond to the areas of greatest need within the University.
DARO is also responsible for dealing with all alumni activities and contact, and the development of the alumni relations programme.
