Postgraduate Research Student Induction

The Postgraduate Research Student Induction event is designed to help all new research students familiarise themselves with life as a research student at Liverpool John Moores University. The one day event covers many different aspects of life as a research student and provides an opportunity for you to meet your fellow researchers and ask any questions regarding your study.

Topics covered during the day include the University’s Code of Practice for Supervisors and Postgraduate Research Students, the University’s Research Degree Regulations, How to Manage your Supervisor, Research Training and others.

Attendance at student induction is mandatory for all newly enrolled students and your registration for MPhil or PhD cannot be approved without evidence of attendance.
