European placements for non-academic staff

LJMU to host staff member from North Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Finland through Erasmus Programme.

Liverpool John Moores University is hosting a seven day staff training visit paid for by the Erasmus programme. Riikka Kaasinen, from the Centre for Design and International Business at the North Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Finland, will be joining the Widening Participation team at LJMU in order to share student recruitment experiences between LJMU and North Karelia, and learn from LJMU’s recruitment success.

The Erasmus Programme provides funding and enables non-teaching staff from LJMU to visit our European partner institutions for a minimum of one week for training purposes. There are limited places left for this opportunity. If you are a non-academic staff member and are interested in participating in your own placement at one of our partner Universities this semester, please speak to your line manager and contact the Erasmus Coordinator at LJMU.

Once we have approval from your line manager and have found a suitable placement with English language support the placement may start.

For further information please contact Michael Harley, Erasmus Coordinator, Development Funding, Kingsway House, ext: 6470 email: m.p.harley@ljmu.ac.uk
