Staff information: 2012 Olympic Games

The 2012 Olympic Games will be held in London (and various other venues in England) from 27 July to 12 August 2012.
In order to minimise the impact that the Games may have on the day-to-day business of each department, staff are asked to notify their line manager as soon as possible if they require to take annual leave to watch or attend the games. This will be handled by their manager in the normal manner.
Staff who have applied to be a volunteer (Game Maker) should advise their manager accordingly to enable their manager to factor this into requests received for annual leave during this period (successful applicants are to be informed from early 2012).
