LJMU Graduates go Deutsche
27 January 2011
LJMU Graduate Development Centre’s relationship with the Deutsche Bank has assisted three LJMU Graduates with securing positions within the bank.
John Phelan, Business Operations Manager at Deutsche Bank and a member of the GDC’s WoW Local Employer Group, contacted the GDC Brokerage Team to source recent LJMU only graduates to fill their Liverpool office vacancies.
Katy Dixon, Director, Change Management, Deutshe Bank said:
“LJMU helped by supplying us very good quality candidates for temporary positions. These were filled easily and we are very happy with work they are doing and are pleased to say that we have extended their contracts to help with other projects”
Terry Dray, Director, Graduate Development Centre added:
“The GDC is currently conducting the destinations survey for LJMU graduates from 2011. Helping LJMU graduates such as these, to secure preferred employment is what the GDC is all about. To also know that all three attended the GDC, (one of the three successful graduates had achieved the WoW skills certificate and the other two attended the Graduate Accelerator Programme) and to know that these were factors in their success is vey encouraging.”.
