Student MFDs - Scanning to USB memory sticks.

Each LRC and Computing Centre within the university now contains a Multi Function Device (MFD) capable of scanning a document directly to a standard USB memory stick or an SD card (found in most laptops or cameras) . Check in the LRC as to which MFDs support this feature.

Please note, any card or memory stick needs to be less than 16gb and formatted as FAT - NTFS is not supported currently. Powered or larger size USB portable hard drives are not compatible. There is no charge for scanning.
